The Grade level Math Program at Thomas Classes (TC) is focussed on imparting basic Math principles in tune with the syllabus and curriculum of each grade ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The program envisages the teaching of Math fundamentals through a step-by-step process to ensure that the fundamentals of Math are well understood and the students are comfortable when it comes to solving application problems especially the Word Problems which has always been a nightmare for most of the students.
The program is designed to serve as a foundation course to build solid conceptual and procedural knowledge in Math as a pre-requisite for stepping up to and branching on to Math, Physics and Chemistry courses in Grade 11, 12 and University.

Proficiency in Math fundamentals is vital for success in Science courses in the School and University curriculum. It is our experience that students thoroughly conversant with Math concepts and basics are well equipped to master the challenges of the Science program, especially those of Physics and Chemistry. TC therefore ensures that the students have a solid foundation, a clear understanding and an ability to tackle complex application problems. TC thus prepares the student to successfully face the complex challenges of applying, analyzing and interpreting mathematical concepts and information in higher level grades as well as in University.
